On the day Kansas City traded reliever Kyle Farnsworth and outfielder Rick Ankiel, then locked up manager Ned Yost through the 2012 season, Billy Butler hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning, propelling the Royals to a 4-3 victory over the Orioles at Kauffman Stadium on Saturday night.

Butler homers to help Royals rally for win

Billy Butler hit a late two-run homer and Zack Greinke pitched eight strong innings as the Kansas City Royals rallied for a 4-3 victory over the Baltimore Orioles Saturday night. After Jason Kendall singled in the eighth, Butler sent a drive over the Orioles bullpen in left field for his 12th homer.
