Surprise, AZ (Sports Network) – The Kansas City Royals on Sunday agreed to terms on one-year contracts with infielders Mike Aviles and Alcides Escobar. Aviles batted .304 and drove in 32 runs last season for the Royals, while Escobar, who was acquired in December from Milwaukee in the Zack Greinke trade, hit .235 in 2010.
